Pastor Paul Drees
Pastor Paul has served Mount Calvary and Tamarack Lutheran churches since August of 2024, when he was called as a 3/4 time pastor. Before serving here, he was an interim Campus Pastor in La Crosse, an interim Pastor at Danebod Lutheran in Tyler, MN, and an Associate Pastor at Granite Falls Lutheran in Granite Falls, MN.
Pr. Paul and his wife Anna have loved exploring the Trempealeau area through biking, hiking, walking, and running. Dr. Anna Drees is a Licensed Occupational Therapist, and is currently serving patients in the greater La Crosse area. When Pr. Paul isn’t working, he enjoys woodworking, playing video games with his brother, and reading. They enjoy traveling together, and have traveled to Equator, Ireland, Greece, and most recently Malaysia.
Separately from this, Pr. Paul frequently posts to social media via TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Bluesky. He has over 450k followers across all four platforms, and 58+ million views of his content. Jaime Brawner

Jaime has been the Administrative Assistant for Mt. Calvary and Tamarack Lutheran Churches since 2018. In her role, she primarily prepare bulletins, newsletters, and event flyers, ensures the church records are current, maintains the financial health of the churches, and manages the day-to-day activities associated with them. These tasks allow her to be creative and utilize her organizational and people skills while working with our members and the general public.
Betty Kube
Organist
Betty Kube has been faithfully serving Mt. Calvary Lutheran and Tamarack Lutheran church for many years as an organist. She loves to foster a safe space for children, offering treasures and treats before the service as a part of her informal ministry of hospitality. It’s a gift to have Betty in our faith community!
